My last works are sculptures - in small and large formats - with natural fibers, applying traditional basketry techniques.

These sculptures, mainly nests and shelters, are born from a need to transfer the experiences of my childhood and are closely related to the idea of ​​returning to my roots.

I am currently working on two concepts that are "the second skin" and "the ability to look like what it is not." Both concepts allude to the strategies of the human being to protect or hide from the "other" or from himself.

I am interested in the similarity and difference of that attitude between people and animals.

During the last years, I have worked with elements of nature but I am currently incorporating drawing and photography to give it a more plastic and more two-dimensional sense.

The pictures in the drawings help me to play with the illusion of what is real and what is fictional.
